Orel came into the shelter after having been caught in a live humane trap. He was originally places in our working cats program as he was not a fan of human interaction (feral). With some time he has blossomed into a very sweet, affectionate cat. He loves hugs and chin scratches. Orel is starting to find joy in playing with toys, and watching cat TV. He still has a tendancy to hit or nibble when it comes time to stop the scratches or hugs. Orel is a big boy with a lot of love to give!All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
