Cupcake showed up at our rural farm in the fall last year. She was a timid but sweet girl. It took some coaxing for her to come to me. The microchip company tried to contact her owners repeatedly, as did the original shelter she was adopted from. The owners did not respond so I kept her. All of our dogs are outside farm dogs, so that is what she was until this spring when thunderstorms started. She has a phobia of storms and if she’s left outside, will run for miles in terror down roads and highways. She wants to be an inside dog and stay in the house, but the person who owns this house will not allow her to be inside! If she hears the slightest rumble of thunder, she is frantic to get in. She also has a little problem with bladder incontinence, which I have taken her to the vet for. The vet put her on twice daily pills to tighten her sphincter. She is so sweet and great with kids if they are kind to her. She is a very sensitive dog. Needs love understanding & an indoor home.
