1953 VINCENT BACH STRADIVARIOUS Bb TRUMPET

My name is Kenneth Ritchie and this is my Medium Large Bore Hand made Vincent Bach Stradivarious B flat Trumpet. It has a 1st valve trigger tuning slide. My Father acquired it from my band director Mr. Stanley Hindmarch (Union Scioto School District director of bands from 1965-1970) as my Christmas present in 1966 my 6th grade year. Mr. Hindmarch bought it before beginning his education as a Trumpet Major at The Ohio State University where he eventually sat 1st chair in the Ohio State Marching Band. According to lists I have referenced this trumpet was built in 1953 (the year I was born). These trumpets were still being hand made in Mt. Vernon New York. I had it replated with a Conn nickle plated finish which darkens the tone a bit making it especially nice for solo and jazz and church work. I just turned 70 and have not played it for several years, thus I am considering selling it.
