Aslan is a beautiful, orange Tabby looking for a calm home without dogs. He's a six-year-old male, adopted from the Boone Humane Society. He loves to get face scratches and rubs on his chest and between his shoulder blades and he'll often return the favor by making biscuits on your lap. He nuzzles and headbutts you for affection and is quite vocal. He purrs very loudly during biscuit making, chatters at the window for birds & squirrels, and chirps occasionally. He's a bigger kitty, at 17 pounds, not overweight, and doesn't have a belly, just neutered later in life. He's a sweet bud who deserves a new home. I've tried to socialize him with my dog for a couple of years. My dog really wishes Aslan would play and cuddle, but Aslan is too afraid of his size and energy. Aslan has only been around kids a little. He is quick to swipe & set boundaries, but never hurts them with more than a scratch. Older kids should be fine, but more curious kids under 7 could get some scratches.
