Boxer Mix Dog for Adoption in Wakefield, Rhode Island, 02886 USNickname: Pearl Shea *LOCAL* Posted Breed: Boxer / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $685. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: about 5 months (as of February 12, 2024) Weight: about 26 lbs (as of February 6, 2024) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Pearl Shea and her sisters were rescued from living on the streets in a rough part of town, but the experience doesn’t seem to have hurt them. Pearl is slow to warm at first, but once she does, she is a love bug. She is in foster with two other dogs and doing well. She has become the resident slipper thief!! Her foster family describes her as shy, affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. Their favorite things are toys and playing chase and tug of war. After a good romp, they are happy to cuddle on your lap. Pearl is working on her housetraining and her crate is where she hangs out when her foster mom is away. She has been crated for 3-4 hours. We do recommend training for them to help them bond with you and fine-tune their manners. Remember, a well-trained dog is a happy and safe dog!
