At a mere 20 pounds of tender playfulness, he loves cuddling and snuggling with his foster mom and rolling over for belly rubs. The more comfortable he becomes around his doggy foster friends, the more he enjoys interacting with them, and surprisingly, he simply loves playing with the resident kitten! Motivated by food and love, he loves all treats, accepting them gently, and although he currently knows no commands, is eager to please and to learn. Not yet walked since he hasn’t been vaccinated, at work on his crate and house-training, Cabo is certain to bloom in a patient and loving home that will educate him fully, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $395 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
