Meet Potter! This handsome boy is about 4 years old and is a silly guy! He loves to carry his toys when he goes for a walk, loves to play ball, and has a great time cuddling on the couch. He knows tons of tricks and will happily do all of them for a treat. He gets along well with most other dogs and he loves his kitty friends! As sweet as Potter is 99% of the time, he does get startled easily because his vision isn't great. If he is startled or doesn't see someone coming, he can be reactive. Potter would do best in a home with no small children and with a family that understands his limited vision.January 30, 2024, 6:03 pmAdoption processAll AARF cats have all received their shots, have been FIV/FeLV tested, are on flea and tick preventative and have been microchipped and spayed/neutered. All AARF kitties are fostered in responsible foster homes, where they receive love, attention and socialization. We have a group of fantastic fosters who help us to create an adoptable and healthy companion for your home. We don't "sell" cats here at AARF. But we do ask for a minimum adoption donation to help us cover the cost of all of the vet care the cats have received. Effective, January 1, 2007, our adoption donation is $85 for cats. All adoption donations are tax-deductible, and help AARF continue our rescue and adoption program.Shelter locationMeeting our pets is by appointment only! We have a limited staff on regular days and many of our pets are in foster homes, so an appointment is necessary to ensure the you get adequate time with your potential new pet and to ensure pets in foster homes are able to be seen.
