DREW is avail for adoption!From his foster: He was once a skinny & timid dog found as a stray in the streets of Philly. He’s now healthy after battling pneumonia & has gained confidence to explore his surroundings, meet people & enjoy life. Besides his ears, you might notice his confidence in his poise & stature.1-2 yo Drew is many things & I’ve known him since his shelter days. He’s crate & house-trained; Very well-behaved in the home; has learned some basic commands like sit, down, touch & come; and enjoys car rides. Drew is now playing with toys & okay with steps outside. He has not attempted steps inside the home so we are still working w/him on that.Drew has a face that makes many stop to say hello when we are on walks. He can get excited when seeing dogs & people, but has a calm disposition that kicks in quickly. Drew has two barks- one that seems to be high-pitched to lure another dog over to say hello. The second is a deeper bark that is heard when a doorbell rings. Overall though, Drew is a quiet & very observant dog.Drew has a dog friend in the neighborhood. He had good brief meets at the shelter and in foster. But we are requiring a meet before adoption and slow intros.##1674624##
