Miso is doing great and becoming friendly. He came to us very grumpy, crusty, and full of fleas, but he is making huge progress. He was not a fan of the icky eye medicine, but he is feeling better now. There is no guarantee how it will heal, but it looks like the eye will heal completely normally with a small cloudy scar on it. He runs around and plays normally. In the meantime, we tell him how handsome and fluffy he is every day. He would strongly prefer to be adopted with his sister, Sweets or brother, Rufio. Each cat will come to their new home neutered or spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV, FIV and heartworms, and microchipped.They can travel along I-35 in Texas with rescue partner for a small donation. Transport is available to most southern states, CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175. All out of state adoptions/transport MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85. We do not adopt out to Florida or California as those states have an abundance of Siamese needing placement within their respective states. Three personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed application, an adoption contract, and an adoption donation are required for adoption.
