New Job Opportunity - Aquatic Biologist:New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Annapolis, MD. Looking to hire a mid level Aquatic Biologist with a minimum of four years of related work experience. It is highly preferred that candidates have a b asic background in GIS applications through coursework or applied experience Logistics of the Role: Full Time - Direct Hire Hybrid role / 2 days on-site and local travel for field work 60k-70k salary (Dependent on experience) Day to Day Activities: Plans and implements surface water monitoring programs via designing and overseeing field and lab operations in order to collect, analyze, summarize, and coordinate sharing of data with regional partners Supervises and assists field crews that sample the physical, chemical and biological attributes of surface waters using scientific techniques and equipment in order to monitor, evaluate, and classify their condition. Evaluates water quality trends and contributes to the development of environmental standards, Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related degree Highly preferred: Basic background in GIS applications through coursework or professional experience Depending on the project: Ability to frequently travel on day trips Powered by JazzHR
