Hi....my name is Buster and I am 4 years old. My foster describes me as a very energetic and charming guy. Yes, I am charming! I love to play but am very picky about my doggie friends. I may do best as an only dog at first.....you could probably get me a friend after I have settled in to my new home. I won't do well with young children as I have a tendency to get a little too playful my foster mommy says. I would love a home with a big backyard I can run and play in as I really like to play with my humans. I will be very happy in a home with an active Mom & Dad who will take me for walks as I am doing a good job learning to walk well on a leash. I am crate trained and house trained....my foster mom says I am a really good boy. I do have a tendency to get very hyper so I will need a family that can manage my energy. I am currently working with a trainer so I will have good social skills and be a good boy for my new family. NOTE: If you want to make me part of your family, you will need to come meet my trainer and go through several training sessions with me so I can continue to learn. I am in Princeton, TX so you will have to come here to meet me......did I already tell you how charming I am? We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. February 2, 2024, 1:46 pmAdoption processUpon approval of your adoption application, an Adoption Coordinator will contact you via email or telephone to match you/your family with one of our available Boston Terriers. Once a dog has been identified as a good match for the home, the foster home will contact you to schedule a time to meet the dog as well as conduct the home visit. If you pass the home visit and the meet and greet goes well (the dog is a good match for your home/family and any existing pets in the home) a 72-hour trial period will begin at that time. The foster will collect the signed adoption contract as well as the adoption fee prior to leaving. Once the 72-hour trial period has expired, the adoption will be finalized.Shelter locationAll of our Bostons are in foster homes. An application must be filled out and approved prior to meeting any of our dogs.
