Velma is a 6 year old shepherd/rottweiler mix. She has lived in a full house with young children, kittens and cats, and other dogs of all ages. Velma is a super sweetheart who is needing to be rehomed by no fault of her own. Her previous owner has had a sudden and unforeseen change in housing and can no longer care for Velma at this time. Velma enjoys being with her people first and foremost. She also really enjoys running back and forth with her previous dog sister, Daphne. Velma appears to have no issues making new friends, both human and canine alike and has bit shown any fears or signs of aggression besides a slight reaction during thunderstorms. Lastly, Velma has tested positive for heartworms due to her change in housing or lack there of, but is currently receiving treatment through SAPA!.
