Quito was found as a stray and posted through the lost dog sites but the owner was not found. He has beautiful Doberman markings but has a little mix of another breed. In the ten days the founders had him they discovered that he is sweet with everyone, housebroken and was in a crate while they were at work. He slept in a dog bed by the foot of their bed. He sits on command and loves to get treats. He walks well on the leash and got along with both their large and small dogs. He will make a great addition to your family and will acclimate quickly.Quito is available for adoption and has received vaccinations and is microchipped but needs to be neutered and get a heartworm test at our local vet.Adoption processWe ask that all prospective adopters send us an adoption application. After we have screened it and approved your application, you will be offered an appointment to visit our facility in Grand Prairie and meet with members of Doberman Rescue of North Texas. .Shelter locationFill out an application and wait to hear from our screener. Once approved our volunteer will contact you and you will be offered and appointment on Sunday's only. Bring a collar and leash. Bring your drivers license or other identification. Bring a check or cash for your adoption donation. We do not accept Paypal and do not keep cash on hand to make change Know the name of your vet clinic and its telephone number. You will need to put it on the adoption contract.
