Queso, Male, approx. 4 years oldBonded with Frita, Female, approx. 4 years oldThey were left in a chicken coop and abandoned when a woman found them and rescued themSurrendered 06/17/23 Queso and Frita are two lucky ferrets that were close to dying of heat stroke had they not been found and brought to the shelter in time. Ferrets cannot live outdoors, and the Arizona sun is fatal to them. Both ferrets are happy and enjoy running through the tubes together.Adoption processAdoption Requirements:1. Do you live in a house or apartment? If you live in an apartment, please provide the name of the apartment complex.2. Do you have a cage set up? I need to see pictures of it if you do.3. Do you have food ready? If so, please let me know what food you plan to feed them.4. You will then need to fill out an adoption application5. I may require a home check prior to adopting6. If you already have other ferrets, I want them to have a play date to make sure it's a good fit and they get along. 7. We do not deliver ferrets to their new homes. Perspective adopters must make an appointment and come to the rescue for the adoptions in person.8. Since ferrets are illegal in California, we cannot adopt to people who live in California. This is for the safety of the ferrets.Shelter locationBy appointment only.
