Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team! Responsibilities Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects Dismantle and reassemble equipment Utilize hoists and hand tools Examine parts for damage or excessive wear Qualifications 2+ years of mechanic experience Must possess the physical ability to perform the job of maintenance mechanic while standing for long periods of time Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to read, write and speak English fluently Must have Knowledge of PCs including working with Microsoft Office software products Only United States Citizens can be considered Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with military vehicles Previous experience working on Bradley vehicle Welding experience is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Vacation and Holiday pay Employer matching 401K Hybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positions Tuition Reimbursement Flexible Spending Programs (FSAs) Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insurance Employee Referral Program Additional Voluntary Benefit Programs Off-site company events & Employee Luncheons Who are we?
