Description:
Responsibilities: Responsible for providing technical solutions and support of Salesforce environment. Specific duties and responsibilities will include Development: Writing code in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning to build custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, fields, and relationships; Maintenance: Maintaining and troubleshooting existing code, fixing bugs, and making updates as needed; Configuration: Configuring Salesforce to meet the needs of the business, including creating custom objects, fields, and relationships, and configuring security settings and user roles; Integration: Integrating Salesforce with other systems, such as ERP systems, marketing automation tools, and web services; Testing and deployment: Testing and deploying code to the Salesforce platform, including creating test classes and using Salesforce's testing and deployment frameworks; Support: Providing support to end users, troubleshooting issues, and answering questions; Administration: Performing Salesforce administration tasks such as managing users, monitoring data quality, and monitoring system performance; Customization: Customizing Salesforce to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, and relationships, and configuring security settings and user roles; App Development: Developing and deploying Salesforce Apps and understanding of AppExchange; Project management: Managing the development process, including creating project plans, timelines, and budgets; Agile development: Working with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, and an understanding of how to apply them to Salesforce projects; and Salesforce certifications: Keeping current with Salesforce Developer, Administrator or Advanced Developer certifications from Salesforce. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or MIS, or Computer Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent, plus 5 years of post-bachelors progressively responsible experience in Salesforce positions such as Salesforce Admin, and/or Business Analyst, and/or Developer and/or Architect; OR Masters degree in Computer Science, or MIS, or Computer Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent, plus 3 years of experience in Salesforce positions such as Salesforce Admin, and/or Business Analyst, and/or Developer and/or Architect. Experience must include: Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning; Salesforce development tools, such as Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, and Salesforce Workbench; Web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Database management systems and SQL, and working with Salesforces database schema; Salesforce administration and configuration; Salesforce integration with other systems, such as ERP systems, marketing automation tools, and web services; Salesforce security features, such as user roles, profiles, and sharing settings; Salesforce data migration from other systems into Salesforce, including data mapping and data validation; Salesforce testing and deployment frameworks; Salesforce customization and customization to meet specific business requirements without negatively impacting performance; and Salesforce App development and deployment, including AppExchange.
