Competition # Posting End Date: February 14, 2024 City: Winnipeg Work Location: Mac Charles Department: Patient & Family Support Services Union: MAHCP Hiring Status: Term Reason for Term: Maternity/ Parental Leave Anticipated Start and End Date: February 19, 2024 to April 07, 2025 (may expire with 2 weeks' notice) FTE: 1.00 Anticipated Shift: D ays Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 Annual Base Hours: 2015 Salary: $32.974/ $34.319/ $35.728/ $37.246/ $38.811/ $40.397/ $41.875/ $42.175/$43.653 Job Summary: Psychosocial Oncology, within Patient and Family Support Services, consists of a multidisciplinary team of social workers, clinical counsellors, and psychiatrists who provide backssment and counselling services to patients and families of Cancer Care Manitoba. Education, research, and community program development are also significant activities within the department. This position will provide clinical counselling services to individuals, families, and groups at Cancer Care Manitoba. The incumbent's primary site is St. Boniface. Clinical assignments may be assigned in other CCMB sites to provide coverage, if needed. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) from a Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) accredited school/faculty, or a Provincially authorized post-secondary program, or the approved equivalent if internationally educated A clinical internship/ field placement from an accredited program Minimum of three years of clinical counselling/consultation experience Registration or eligibility.
