Role Our Integrated Security team focuses on designing, installing and maintaining complex security solutions for our clients. As a Technician l - Security, you will be responsible for reviewing, understanding, and implementing installations according to plans provided by our Project Managers and Sales Teams. Ideal candidates will represent Paladin in a professional manner that aligns with our values of leadership mindset, people development, team, and client-focused. A typical day could see you working on a variety of commercial installations including, hospitals, airports, corporate offices, and casinos to name just a few. Responsibilities Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance Prepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needs Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation You may be required to be “on-call” before or after your regularly scheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduled to work You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements Success Factors Adaptability: Quickly adapt to deliver on desired outcomes for our clients Accountability: Own your work from start to finish Service Orientation: Strive to exceed customer expectations Innovation: Always look for new ways to add value Technical knowledge: constantly build your skillset and demonstrate your abilities Desired Skills & Experience Prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low voltage industry(s) Experience and/or vendor certification in low voltage systems is preferred Ideally: Genetec, Bosch intrusion, Lenel, Kantech, DSC, Avigilon Programming experience.
