Gump is a sweet JRT/chi mix. He transferred from another rescue that did not have room for him, where he had been brought in as an unclaimed stray. Gump is happy, friendly, loving and does well with other dogs. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea preventives. Gump's adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $500.January 31, 2024, 9:13 amAdoption processAn application to meet or adopt is required before scheduling an appointment or providing our address or directions. Other requirements are approval of application; adoption fees and contract. Adoption fees are tax deductible donations payable via PayPal or check made to Fairy Dogmother Rescue & Rehab, Inc. Cash is accepted also. Fees for long distance adoptions are payable thru PayPal (small service fee applies). Adoption fees are donations that support the rescue and make it possible to save, house, provide vet care and find homes for as many small dogs as possible. Fees provide for all the 50+ dogs at Fairy Dogmother, not just the dog being adopted. Most fees are $450 (seniors, some big dogs or long timers could be lower). All FDM dogs are safe on premises until adopted, are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, maintained on monthly heartworm and flea preventive. There is no time limit for adoption.Shelter locationThe rescue is located in Baileyton, AL at the home of founder/director, Glenda Wilhite. Dogs are seen by appointment. Application to meet or adopt is required before appointments are scheduled or our address or directions provided. Please email for same at XXXX@gmail.com Visitors are welcome to see all the available dogs. If everything goes well, visitors can go home with a new family member that day.
