Title: Radiology Tech - Salem, VA - Join a Leading Healthcare Facility Location: Salem, VA Position Type: Permanent Salary Range: $22.61 (new grad) - $28.49 (8 years of experience) per hour Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (2-year commitment) Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 (2-year commitment) Shift Differentials: Evening ($2.50 per hour), Nights ($3 per hour), Weekends ($1 per hour) Job Summary and Responsibilities: We are seeking dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologists to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist , you will play a crucial role in diagnosing patient illnesses by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, positioning them correctly, adjusting equipment controls, and ensuring proper exposure factors. Additionally, you will maintain the quality and accuracy of radiographs, document patient care services, review exam results, and assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents. Qualifications: Education: Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training License/Certification: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification, State license in Virginia (in process by submission), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment Experience: New grads are welcome to apply Additional Information: Level II Trauma Center On-call pay includes base pay plus additional on-call pay Overtime paid for on-call hours Shifts: Days/Evening/Nights (8-10 hour shifts), Every other weekend or one weekend per month (flexible scheduling options) Salary Range: $22.61 per hour for new grads , up to $28.49 per hour for 8 years of experience Benefits: Competitive salary with shift differentials Generous sign-on bonus with commitment Relocation assistance provided Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are a dedicated Radiology Technologist seeking an opportunity to contribute to a premier healthcare facility, we invite you to apply.
