Sky is a 7-8-year-old gal that if she could talk, we are sure she would have some stories to tell! She is 76 pounds of LOVE! Sky loves attention and enjoys getting all the pets and rubs she can! She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet! Sky did test positive for Lyme and Anaplasmosis which are both tick borne diseases and is currently on medication to treat them. Sky did have a small lump in her mammary glad that was found when she was being spayed and it has been removed and sent out for testing, we are currently waiting on her results. Sky would love to find a loving forever home where she can spend her golden years in being spoiled! She is still active for a somewhat older girl! She loves to go to the play yard and play with the jolly ball! Due to no past history an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. The adoption process can take up to 2-3 days. If you rent, CVAS will need to see proof that you are allowed to have pets. If you have other pets, we ask that they all be up-to-date on their vaccinations before you add another furry friend to your home.We require that your adopted pet be an indoor companion and kept current on recommended vaccines. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, initial vaccines, deworming, flea and earmite treatment, and a collar. Adopters will receive educational materials about your new pet. Adoption prices are as follows: Dogs from 8 weeks to 6 years are $212.00, Dogs over 6 years are $153.00, Cats over seven months are monetary donation, and kittens are $90.10 for one or a pairShelter locationWe have animals available for adoption at our shelter on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 11am-6pm and Saturday from 11am-4pm. The shelter facility is closed to the public on Wednesday and Sunday. We also have cats available for adoption at the PetSmart Adoption Center on Norland Ave. in Chambersburg, PA. These cats are viewable during the PetSmart Stores business hours. We also have cats available for adoption at Petco on Lincoln Way East, in Chmabersburg, PA.
