Job Description: Do you have experience working within a busy finance environment across a range of duties If this sounds like you, we have a great opportunity for you Our client, a financial services business based in Edinburgh hybrid working, is recruiting for an Accounting Administrator to join them on an initial 12 month contract. Skills/Experience: Experience in an investment/finance environment, desirably with practical experience of using a financial accounting system. Educated to at least standard grade level including mathematics or another numerical subject. Clean basic vetting checks. Core Responsibilities: Wide variety of day to day duties in the Finance team including: Investment Back Office administration - produce monthly investment reconciliations, cash flow/trade settlement monitoring, IBOR reconciliations and administration of unlisted assets. Pay Control tasks including weekly pensioner immediate payments run and assist the monthly pensioner staff payroll. Production of Financial Accounting information including the reconciliation of Fund bank accounts, employer contributions and pension payments. General activities such as production of KPI’s for Senior Leadership Team SLT, processing of purchase/sales invoices and daily administration of staff time management system.
