Home Care Assistance is looking for two registered nurses/registered practical nurses to join the team. The shifts are: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9:30 pm to 8:30 am HCA is seeking 2 registered staff to fill this role. RN/RPN's license renewal fee is covered annually when working full-time hours after the first year. Here are some specific details and requirements: - G-tube experience, Med resistive and reactive, comfortable with managing seizures- Must have a license and vehicle- Willingness to adjust to a scent-free lifestyle because any scents trigger seizure activity. The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: Conducting backssments and reassessments; Developing, monitoring, and updating plans of care, as assigned; Providing medication support and administration; Responding to all emergencies; Completing pertinent reports correctly and in keeping with assigned deadlines; Meeting the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times; All other duties, as assigned. Other key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario Nursing experience in a similar setting; Valid First Aid and CPR certificates is preferable; Ability to read, write, and accurately follow written and verbal instructions; Effective time management skills to work under specified time constraints and in accordance with job routines, while observing policies and procedures as well as applicable work standards and safety regulations; The ability to focus on multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment; Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters; A criminal records/vulnerable sector screen, recent COVID-19 test and satisfactory professional references; Home Care Assistance.
