**Weatherford, TX** Luke is a 2 yo old heeler/pitty blend who is going to be the best snuggle buddy you could ever want. Luke likes car rides, walks, snuggling, stuffed toys and having dog friends to play with. Luke can see light and movement, is bilaterally deaf and knows touch signals. A fenced yard is required to adopt Luke. Please fill out an application on our website at irescuehomelesspets dot org under the adopt tab to meet or adopt LukeAdoption processWe require an adoption application be completed, after the adoption is approved, a home check is done & the potential adopter may set up a date to have a meet & greet with the pet they are interested in. We ask that you bring all family members and other household pets to this meeting in order to make sure everyone is compatible & ensure a smoother transition for the new family member. At the time of adoption a contract will be filled out & explained. We require valid picture identification from the adopter also. Our fees for adult dogs range from $75-125, this includes all vaccinations, microchipping, spay or neuter surgery, a negative heartworm test & parasite removal. Puppies under six months of age are typically $150 & includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm & flea prevention for the month & microchipping. Cats & kittens are generally $50 which includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, de-worming & negative FIV testing.Shelter locationiRescue is a foster based rescue & as such meeting the animals requires a scheduled time to do so. While we do the best we can to accommodate a potential adopters time & day needs we also have to work around the foster parents schedules also.
