Searching for a loyal gentle companion? Your search is over! Kodiak is a handsome 6 year old Labrador mix that was abandoned which we don’t understand because he is such an overall great dog. Kodiak has a nice energy ready for an adventure or relaxing with his family. Kodiak is calm and well mannered boy that just realy wants a family to love him and a place to hang his leash. Take a chance and you will be surprised how much happiness Kodiak will add to your life. Adopt Kodiak! Kodiak’s adoption fee is $100.00 and includes sterilization, first shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs shelter website.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract and adoption fees. The fee for a dog is $100.00 and a cat is $60.00. The fee includes mandatory spay or neuter and vaccinations. If calling about an animal you may have to leave a message. Your call will be answered as soon as possible.Shelter locationOur shelter is located at 49 Shelter Lane in Heber Springs, Arkansas. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
