The ideal candidate should be a registered patent agent with examining experience at the U.S. PTO or patent drafting experience in a law firm setting. The candidate should hold undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science. Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous experience as a patent examiner, and industry experience is considered a plus. The successful candidate must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and sharp analytical ability. Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct patent drafting and prosecution activities related to aerospace engineering and engine technology.Collaborate with inventors and attorneys to prepare and file patent applications.Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.Provide technical and legal advice on patent matters.Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations.Assist in the development and execution of patent strategies.Work closely with clients and other stakeholders. Requirements:Background in aerospace engineering and engine technology.Registered patent agent with examining experience at the U.S. PTO or patent drafting experience in a law firm setting.Undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.Strong preference for previous experience as a patent examiner.Excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and sharp analytical ability. Education:Undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in relevant engineering or computer science fields. Certifications:Registered patent agent. Skills:Technical proficiency in aerospace engineering and engine technology.Strong patent drafting and prosecution skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
