We are presently accepting resumes for one Temporary Assignment Full-Time Support Worker Orillia II - Awake Nights position. This position will be assigned to work in our group homes in Orillia, working up to 72 hours biweekly. Compensation Package: Hours of work are 8:00pm - 8:00am, 12-hour shifts for a total of 72 hours biweekly ; Minimum starting rate of pay is $26.16 11 paid Statutory Holidays; Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family; Minimum Qualifications: D. S. W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child & Youth Worker, E. C. E. S. S. W. Nursing, Psychology, etc. ) as determined by the employer is required; 6 months of direct related experience in the Developmental Services sector; Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people; When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. In your resume, please ensure that you specify the length of your programs; Ability to work weekends and holidays; Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours; A valid class " G" driver's license and own reliable transportation is required; Role/Duties: Our Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.
