This adorable shorthair black & white kitten is Almond, and he’s still waiting to find his forever home! If you’re unable to adopt or foster him, please share this information! He’s currently living in a temporary foster home in Columbus, OH, and he’s approximately 1 year old. Almond has been neutered & vaccinated. He tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and will require a home without other cats or a home with other FIV+ cats. If you aren’t familiar with FIV, please research it online or discuss it with your vet. Forgotten 4 Paws has adopted many FIV+ cats over the last 25 years, and they have had amazing lives! If you live in Columbus, OH or a surrounding area, and you’re interested in fostering or adopting Almond, please submit an application via http://www.forgotten4paws.com/adoption-application.htmlAdoption processApplications can be submitted online via www.forgotten4paws.com. It typically takes about 2-4 business days for applications to be reviewed and processed. Our adoption fee is $85 for one kitten or cat. The fee for two cats or kittens is $150. The adoption fee includes testing, altering (certificates will be given for those not old enough at the time of adoption), vaccinations (current through time of adoption), micro-chipping, and any other vet services necessary to ensure you have a healthy pet to add to your family.Shelter locationSince we have no physical shelter, our cats and kittens live in our small network of foster homes. We utilize newsletters, social media, and websites such as Adopt-a-Pet to advertise the available cats/kittens. We also sometimes bring foster kittens/cats to the Easton PetSmart on weekends to meet potential adopters. If you are interested in meeting a particular cat, please submit an application online, and then email us to inquire about how to meet the cat.
