Achilles was surrendered to the rescue along with Athena. He is a sweet boy but is high energy. He came from a home with 2 other dogs. He was extremely dominant with them though. He is about 1-2 years old. He doesn’t mind most dogs in passing. He absolutely loves to play. He tends to be very dominant though so he would do best as the only dog in the home. He does not care for cats. He would be best suited for a home with no children. Achilles is neutered and fully vetted. He is currently in training. He is a wonderful dog that will make a great companion for a family that is willing to give him a chance. Training/socialization class and previous breed experience is a requirement for his adoption. **Applications will not be screened if they do not meet the listed requirements. **Adoption processOur adoption process consists of an initial application for the animal of interest, followed by reference checks (both personal and with a veterinarian), a home visit, and finally if approved an adoption contract. All animals are required to be inside companion pets and the owner must maintain veterinary care throughout the life of the animal. Adoption fees are $150 for dogs, unless it is fostered through us for another rescue and $75 for cats. All animals are up to date with vaccinations and spayed/neutered before adoption.Shelter locationArrangements can be made to visit with any of our pets, but because we are foster based and do not have one facility, appointments must be made to do so.
