VINTAGE OLDS SPECIAL TRUMPET F.E. OLDS & SON FULLERTON CALIFORNIA SERIAL# 27452This is a vintage Olds Special Trumpet. Looks like it is a multi tone type finish with a copper colored bell. Serial number is 27452. Comes with a Two (2) Vincent Bach mouth pieces as shown. A 7C and also a 7EW Mouthpiece. This is not all beat up like some trumpets I've seen on here.Does have some lacquer wear as is shown in photos. I recently just acquired this at a sale and will have to sell AS IS non working or for parts because it likely may have been been stored for a while. No strange musty type odors to the case or instrument as this WAS NOT kept in a damp basement !May need serviced , restored, etc. Also I am not real familiar with this type of instrument but this does look solid to me. I am not a musician so I have not tried to play this. I did notice that valve # 3 pushes down freely but wants to stick on its way up but it will return to the proper up position and remain there as it should . The other 2 valves open and close freely. Also includes the case as shown which is solid and in decent shape.
