5001 Old Dixie Hwy., Forest Park, GA 30297 Restaurant General Manager Job Description Our restaurant group is seeking a dynamic hospitality professional to join our team in the Restaurant General Manager position. Bring your management skills and help lead our staff in providing the great Southern food, drink and service that keep our guests coming back! Restaurant General Manager (RGM) Summary: Our RGM is completely knowledgeable of all positions in the restaurant and able to lead and grow an effective team. This Manager must be familiar with and understand Soul Food cooking! Responsibilities: The RGM is always willing to jump in the serve line or the cook line to help out during busy times or when there is a no-show employee situation.Responsibility for restaurant’s overall cleanliness requirement.Responsible for hiring and training the staff, ensuring that all customers are happy with their service and food.Must have a full understanding of food cost and portion control.Makes sure all Staff members complete their position check list and verify that all items on the list are completed on a shift to shift basis.Must be present on all busy days especially Sunday, no exceptions.Must provide Daily Reports to the corporate office due by 11.30am.Items required for the weekly meeting with regional, need to ready before the meeting.Responsible for weekly food and drink orders.Food costs must be maintained at the required %.Must make sure payroll is line with company guide lines and %.Must comply with state and local authority Rules and regulations.Respond to all third party guest comment sites on a daily basis. Qualifications: 2 – 4 years of restaurant management experience.Comfortable leading and working with a team in a fast paced environment.Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.Knowledge of food safety is absolutely required.ServSafe certification is a plus - will agree to getting certified.Drivers license and reliable transportation.
