Shift Manager Position Summary: Our Shift Managers are critical to the restaurant’s success by overseeing, leading and motivating the restaurant team to achieve the highest levels of customer service satisfaction. Shift Managers enthusiastically lead the restaurant team in delivering our consistently outstanding customer service to our guests. Burger King Shift Managers are responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support, while working closely with the Restaurant Managers and the Team to maintain operational standards and procedures. Responsibilities: Assists in developing the restaurant team to create an environment where enthusiastic people are recognized and rewarded for achieving organizational and personal goals. Takes inventory of stock during shift to determine ordering needs and quantity of supplies required to prevent shortages. Counts cash on hand at shift change and at closing to determine shortages or overages and prepare bank deposit statements. Assures that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant. Supervises, trains, motivates and leads the team to maintain enthusiastic customer service. Ensures orders are taken in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner. Resolves customer complaints, handles issues that may arise in the restaurant. Follows the Burger King uniform and grooming standards and policies.Develops team building effectiveness skills; leads and works with others to achieve team goals. Qualifications: Leadership skills - ability to supervise, train and motivate the restaurant Team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good math and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide exceptional customer service.1 to 3 years previous restaurant experience. Ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment.Must have reliable transportation. Minimum age requirement 18.
