Join our casual, exciting and welcoming Mexican Restaurant + Bar with open concept kitchen and vibrant atmosphere. Line Cook Position Summary: Nuevo is seeking an energetic Line Cook candidate who is familiar and comfortable with restaurant kitchen procedures and daily tasks: food prep, required line cooking and setting up the supply stations. This experience is key to our Kitchen’s success ensuring Nuevo’s Guest satisfaction! Requirements/Qualifications: Night and weekend availability mandatory.Minimum 2 years’ restaurant experience.Consistently uses/promotes safe and sanitary food handling practices.Efficiently prepares all meals per customer order.Assists with operating all kitchen equipment, maintaining the kitchen, assist with cooking other menu items and food item packaging.Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.Punctual, responsible with reliable transportation.Be flexible with schedule, work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
