JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Oncology RN - MED/SURG/ONC Full-Time Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Oncology Unit will have the following job responsibilities: You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Oncology RN - MED/SURG/ONC Full-Time Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Oncology Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Must have successfully completed an accredited RN program. Must have an RN license in the State of Texas, COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one. Must have a minimum of one year of experience working as an RN in an acute care hospital. BSN preferred Must have BLS certification Must have Oncology experience in an acute care setting
