Our Center pride itself in having the highest standards for our teachers and facilities to provide our students with a safe, exciting, nurturing learning environment.Our Center is looking to hire an Assistant Center Director. The ideal candidate will support the center director by leading a team of dedicated teachers and providing their students with the utmost care and service. They will bond with parents during initial and ongoing interactions and help promote our services through school and business contacts. Title: Assistant Center Director Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Flexible schedule (rotate with the center director) Hours of Operation: 5:30 AM -6:00 PM The successful person in this position exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well; inspires respect and trust; displays passion and optimism The Assistant Director will support the Center Director to maintain a passionate and nurturing culture for children and support teachers in implementing a hands-on curriculum. Must have NC Early Childhood Credentials and/or an Associate's Degree or higher. Must love children and have the ability to work well with others Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide exceptional customer service Teaching experience is highly desirable Excellent communication and listening skills A professional appearance and demeanor, consummate people skills, and demonstrable talent for interacting effectively with all types of people A strong desire to work with children in a positive, team-oriented environment and a strong commitment to helping children succeed academically The ability to be detail-oriented, have a high level of organization, and effectively multi-task is a must.
