Thorne Crest Senior Living Community, a not-for-profit an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire a Chef/Cook to help our culinary team provide restaurant-quality meals for our valued residents. Pay starts at $15.00 and up based on experience. Currently hiring for On Call/PRN As the Cook/Chef, you will help lead a talented culinary team in preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for our active residents. You will help create inspired menus and prepare appetizing, delicious, and nutritious meals. You will also assist in day-to-day kitchen operations, sanitization and cleaning, ingredient resourcing, and production scheduling/management. What you will need: Must be at least 18 years of age Graduate from an accredited culinary program, or equivalent experience is desired. Prior kitchen management experience is helpful, but not required Covid-19 vaccination is required to work in a healthcare setting Who we are: We Care! A lot!
