Job Summary: Baroody Camps, Inc. provides enrichment programs to school children in various counties throughout the Virginia/Maryland area. We are looking for individuals who are interested in making a positive impact in children's lives through teaching/coaching various sport programs. Sports and activities include: basketball, soccer, volleyball, fitness, tennis, pickleball, PE games and more! ** SCHEDULE: Looking for candidates also open to AM HOURS and WEEKENDS! Zip codes we are located: 22153 and 20171 and 22124 Along with: Dumfries, VA 22025 / Lorton, VA 22079 / 20155 / 20147 / 20165 / 22066 Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare for class each day Teach provided curriculum to a group of 8-15 children in a structured environment Sports equipment management Manage the children in an appropriate and safe manner Ensure students are safely dismissed following class Communicate effectively with children, parents and Baroody Camps staff Implement COVID-19 policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills: Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED Experience playing or coaching sports programs Excellent communication skills High level of classroom management skills and customer service skills Works well under pressure Vehicle transportation preferred Must be available to teach at least 2-3 times per week Baroody Camps is an equal employment opportunity employer and is a safe and drug-free workplace.
