THE OPPORTUNITY Harvard Bioscience is currently seeking a Business analyst with interest in being Project Leader for an ERP Conversion Project consolidating our US based businesses into an existing JD Edwards instance. The qualified candidate will work directly with our business functions, IT resources and key vendors to plan and execute the consolidation. The project includes: Gap Workshops between old ERP (MK) and JD Edwards, upgrade of JDE and Agile PLM and leading the execution of all phases of the consolidation project. The qualified individual will ensure that all phases of the project are delivered within scope, on-time, and within budget. Once this project is completed, resource will work on other IT related process and application changes ranging from Financial Consolidation and Reporting tool and CRM consolidation. This role is in Holliston, MA but travel to MN will be required. Hybrid, minimum 4 days on site per week. Essential Job Functions Organize and lead project meetings, including Functional Gap Workshops and Requirements meetings, Steering Committee meetings, Vendor Status meetings, etc. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation aligned with project objectives. Assist in preparing vendor RFP Report project status on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Track and provide updates of actual spend against budget Work with IT and Functional leads to determine resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans Work with leadership to minimize project risks Utilize best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution skills and abilities required Experience working as a Business Analyst in at least one process area of an ERP. Examples would be Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Operations or Finance. Experience in leading small projects or participated in a key role on larger projects. Interest in growing as a BA and gaining skills leading larger projects. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and skilled working across functions. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skill Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools Demonstrated ability to be a team player Demonstrated ability to solve problems Ability to work with multiple stakeholders Bonus skills and experience PMP certification is a plus JDE experience is a plus Job experience in F&A, Operations, or other Corporate Function.
