Training Specialist

Description:
Training Specialist Responsible for communicating with leadership to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. This position will manage, design, develop, and coordinate training programs throughout the organization. Essential Functions: Work with leadership and subject matter experts to identify training needs under compliance, leadership and staff development. Develop training plans and pathways, identify best means of training delivery, create new courses as needed. Review course content and make recommendations to ensure training is engaging and applies adult learning theory. Establish processes and tools to maintain current employee training records, skills, and training pathways. Measure training effectiveness through key metrics to ensure training results align with organizational goals. Utilize learning management system for efficient enrollment, delivery, tracking, and reporting of training. Responsible for coordination of logistics and communications around training activities. Education/Experience Required: 1 - 2 years of experience in designing training outlines and programs; experience in needs assessment, performance gap analysis, and assessing training needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Ability to be proactive, follow up and follow through around regular activities along with future projects. Preferred Bachelor's degree in communications, instructional design, or similar. Experience in healthcare/FQHC industry.
