A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GROUNDSKEEPER/SWEEPER As a Groundskeeper/Sweeper, you are responsible for ensuring the facilities stays safe for patrons and clean. Any excess garbage or mess is taken care of quickly. You work independently and are responsible for specific tasks. Groundskeeper/Sweepers will assist any patrons that require help, but you will mostly be able to pop in an earpiece and enjoy your favorite song, podcast, or audiobook while at work! In addition, you also attend all staff meetings, training sessions, and end of year festival. When other groundskeeper/sweepers or staff members need help, you are happy to assist them with any tasks that are required. Having a job where you get to maintain a great looking facility for patrons every day brings you great satisfaction is why you thrive in this position! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GROUNDSKEEPER/SWEEPER At least 15 years of age Ability to meet the physical activity requirements, including pushing and pulling Ability to work weekends Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you highly alert and attentive to detail? Do you work well both independently and as part of a team? Can you work well in stressful situations? Do you consider yourself an exceptional problem solver? If yes, you might just be perfect for this part-time position in our facilities department!
