Texas Tissue Converting is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant to join our growing team! This position's primary responsibility is to analyze costs, expenditures, and purchases as it relates to raw materials, build of materials, and inventory. Please visit us at: www.texastissue.com Primary Accountabilities and Deliverables: Maintain standard costs, value, and processes for the costing of raw materials, inventory, and build of materials. Manage inventory tracking, costs, and value. Review, report, and document inventory and material purchase and usage. Assist with audits of inventory counts and cycle counts. Determine the costs and efficiency of company purchasing activities related to materials and production of goods. Review costs for inventory, labor, and material purchases. Present cost estimates and budgets for new purchases as it relates to raw materials and inventory. Compile documentation on standard material costs and company production costs. Collect and compile purchasing data (production related) for analysis. Forecast and plan purchasing costs according to needs. Prepare and complete internal cost audits. Assist in audits as needed by accounting department. Plan, budget and prepare reports with inventory and raw materials data. Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Must have 2+ years Costing experience Must have previous experience in a Manufacturing industry Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy with numbers Must have QuickBooks experience Must have ERP experience Must be proficient in Excel If you feel that you would be right for this position, please fill out our initial mobile friendly applications so that we can review your application.
