Still Waters Resort is accepting applications for a lifeguard supervisor! We are a growing resort with heated pools open the majority of the year and with prospects of opening an indoor waterpark soon, this position will come with many perks. This is a full time, year round position with the ability to work in other areas during the slower parts of the year if needed.Responsibilities include: Recruit, interview and train new life guards. Schedule lifeguards to cover pool hours. Document, coach and address any performance issues with lifeguard team. Coordinate with resort management for pool maintenance and supplies as needed. Punctuality in following a schedule around opening and/or closing the pool Maintain the safety of our guests in and around the pool Perform patron surveillance with a rescue tube from the guard stand Remain alert and use all senses while guarding Represent StillWaters Resort by maintaining a professional attitude Communicate, train and enforce all StillWaters Resort pool policies, rules, and regulations in a professional manner Must be able to respond to an emergency and contact/activate EMS Provide reports on all accidents Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training Provide customer service to guests, including handling guest conflict and complaints, as necessary Perform work safely in accordance with the departmental safety procedures Operate equipment safely and report any unsafe work conditions Perform other duties as as assigned.
