All Care Homecare is seeking to hire a full-time Director of Nursing to provide support for members with disabilities. If so, keep reading about the Director of Nursing position!All Care Homecare is a participant in the Group Adult Foster Care Program (GAFC). As part of this program, we provide personalized, culturally sensitive, compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Collaborating with treatment providers, we establish a comprehensive individualized care plan for each of our members. Our goal is to maintain our members' independence and quality of life in their own homes as an alternative to a hospital or nursing home placement. Responsibilities: Supervising all nursing staff Maintaining high standards of care for all members Managing members' data and medical records as confidential records Communicating with providers, members, and family members about member health Training all new nursing staff Providing ongoing education classes Implementing new procedures and training all nurses on the new policies Evaluating nurse performances Creating standard of care guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Excellent multitasking and organization skills Ability to lead and instruct others Interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication Up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices, methods, and tools Fluent in English with skills in a second language a plus Problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage a budget Our employees take pride in making every day count by adding value to the lives of people we support.
