Crafco, Inc. has an opening for an Equipment Product Manager at our corporate office in Chandler, AZ. The Equipment Product Manager will act as the information hub for all Crafco manufactured equipment to drive advancement, safety, training development, and industry best practices for all Crafco equipment product lines. The Equipment Product Manager will facilitate all live equipment trainings, support demonstrations at corporate events, and partner with various internal departments to ensure accurate and uniform information is communicated internally and to the industry at large. This position will travel frequently, up to 50% or more, as needed, and will work closely with the Director of Organizational Development and other internal business partners to deliver upon the strategic goals of the organization to elevate equipment of the Crafco brand. Specific Duties Include: Maintain equipment operation and service best practices to train and develop Crafco personnel and ensure consistency across the organization. Understand industry best practices and maintain awareness of equipment competition and emerging technologies. Act as equipment communication hub. Partner with various departments to support consistent messaging and training development for Crafco manufactured equipment both internally and externally. Engineering - communicate engineering updates/changes to all Crafco personnel, update manuals, training materials etc. Support testing if needed etc. Marketing - provide accurate language, features & benefits etc. for Crafco's equipment marketing materials and communications. Operations - support equipment training for Plant and Supply Center service personnel, rental fleet maintenance, and customer equipment service. Sales - support equipment training, communicate equipment updates as needed, provide field support for large equipment demos/projects, if needed. Work with Director of Organizational Development and other internal business partners to develop and execute equipment strategy that elevates the Crafco brand. Research and analyze equipment market trends in our industry. Develop and present business plans when opportunities for acquisition and/or R&D present themselves for consideration. Work with Training Development Specialist to manage existing equipment training content, evaluate for effectiveness, and update as needed. Update and maintain content for all Equipment & Service schools. Create Equipment videos (troubleshooting, FAQ, Best practices etc.) for Crafco YouTube channel and other media as needed. Facilitate live equipment trainings, as needed such as Crafco University Equipment School and Super Shot Service Schools. Support technical equipment training for internal employees, as needed. Develop, lead and conduct equipment training for Supply Center Service Technicians, Service Associates, and Mechanics at our 8 manufacturing locations and 17 supply center locations across the continental US. Create rental equipment fleet maintenance SOPs, support program across supply centers and plants for consistency, increased production and rental profits and decrease downtime. Evaluate and develop customer equipment service SOPs at Supply Centers. Lead and support equipment demos and speaking engagements at Corporate Events (Global Sales Meeting, Distributor Mtg etc.), and national Seminars, Conferences, and Trade Shows, as needed. Support continued development of crack sealing certification in the industry. Actively participate with professional organizations and/or institutes of higher learning to influence accurate and beneficial data for crack sealing, pavement preservation treatments and pavement preservation equipment. Conduct post-event evaluations for program effectiveness, report feedback and implement changes for continuous improvement. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners, customers, distributors, and vendors. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Engineering, or related preferred 3 - 5 years' experience with Crafco equipment Direct knowledge of the pavement preservation industry desired Minimum 2 years' experience public speaking or presenting skills, professional training or facilitation experience preferred Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer proficiency with MS Office Suite of applications, specifically Power Point Diplomacy and the ability to collaborate closely with individuals of all personalities at all levels Exceptional time management and project management skills Highly organized thinker with deep attention to detail that can coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Exceptional listening skills Display and encourage a positive attitude Solutions-oriented team player, ability to problem solve and work well under pressure Resourceful, able to find solutions to projects and problems Valid US Driver's license, and clean driving record Ability for frequent travel, as needed (up to 50% travel or more as needed) Attentive to the value of staying under budget while ensuring program specifications are effectively met or exceeded Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role such as sitting or standing for long periods of time, working outside sometimes in hot or adverse conditions, lift 50 pounds or more without assistance etc. Crafco, Inc. is an EEO employer and a drug-free workplace.
