Construction Superintendent (On-Site)

Premier Medical Resources is seeking a full-time Construction Superintendent to join our team at our office located in the Jersey Village area, 77040. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Project Management Organize and manage site construction activities to meet or exceed project completion schedules Organize project site logistics Coordinate all state and local municipality inspections Monitoring of project general conditions Coordinate all MEP, Structural and Civil inspections Compliance with Local, State and Federal Codes relating to the work Maintain project photos for the project Assemble and maintain as-built drawings for the project Perform SWPPP inspections and prepare reports Participate in all project team meetings Follow and maintain the superintendents Project Checklist Establish and maintain positive communications with Clients Vendors and Subcontractors Review Subcontractor insurance/ purchase order logs Assist with review of subcontractor / vendor change pricing Enforcement of terms, conditions, and scope of work for subcontractors and vendors Coordinate and communicate change orders with subs & suppliers Develop and maintain a team relationship with subcontractors and vendors Conduct weekly scheduling meetings with subcontractors, forecast possibly delays, plan and schedule workarounds and report progress against plans Reporting Prepare daily construction reports Perform daily and weekly safety inspections and prepare reports Prepare four weeks look ahead schedules and update weekly Assist with approval of project Invoices KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional judgment. Ability to communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and other project team members In-depth knowledge of and experience in construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures. Thorough understanding of contract language and with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and identify and leverage opportunities. In-depth knowledge of and experience in construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Degree or GED Five (5) years of experience in building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control measures, general contract, subcontract documents, and drawings and specifications.
