Job Summary The Eye Clinic of Wisconsin is seeking an Optometrist to join our team in the Rhinelander or Stevens Point areas. We are seeking a motivated, self-starter who is interested in growing with our busy practice. The individual selected for this position will perform routine comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens exams to diagnose acute eye disease and vision loss, follow-up appointments and make appropriate referrals to our medical providers. Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, ocular pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic eye conditions are expected. This practice consists of a large multi-specialty eye practice, outstanding collegial working atmosphere, up to date diagnostic equipment, and support provided by excellent certified ophthalmic assistants and a team of support staff to perform administrative, billing, insurance and pre-test duties. Practice Join one of the largest Ophthalmology groups in the Midwest serving Wisconsin for 60 years. Eye Clinic of Wisconsin has eight locations throughout North Central Wisconsin. We have state-of-the-art equipment and facilities with access to a full suite of medical equipment. Fully trained and professional staff to facilitate the entire patient experience. Mature, fast-paced practice with stable increase of patient base. Our practice is a 100% independent physician-owned practice. Eye Clinic of Wisconsin physicians and staff are motivated by our mission of being the provider of choice for Quality patient care in the communities we serve. Our clinic is comprised of twelve comprehensive/subspeciality MD/DO's, six Optometrists, one Audiologist, and over 200 employees. Within a few hours' drive, you can travel to Minneapolis, Madison, Green Bay, or Milwaukee, and in even less time, get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin.
