We are seeking to hire a skilled Sales Manager who will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our most important clients for our Renewable Chemical business. Our ideal candidate is someone with years of experience in chemical sales and the drilling / mudding industry. This person will need to be able to identify customer needs and is passionate about exceeding client expectations. This position would be located near in Texas and rotate throughout San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. We are ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. Sales Manager duties and responsibilities: Manage and create projects working with our customers in the renewable chemical / drilling industry. Serve as the point of contact for customers and help facilitates and expedite customer needs with our engineers and other parts of our business. Work as a technical expert to help interface with our customers and make sure their needs are being met as well as understanding issues and problems they may have. Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with high volume clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives. Develop business by closing new accounts and maintaining and growing existing ones. Contribute to the development of an annual sales plan and sales strategy with supervisor for new and existing market penetration to ensure sales and profitability goals are achieved. Research key customer wants and needs. Ensure the ordered products are delivered in a timely manner. Serve as contact point for key customers and internal teams. Resolve customers' complaints in an effective and respectful way. Gather, report, and communicate customers' feedback on service, technology, and product delivery. Research and sourcing new potential clients in the chemical and mudding industry. Measure, track and analyze key account metrics. Create reports for upper management. Keep up to date with industry and market trends and best practices. Track all leads, customers, prospects, etc. using CRM software to ensure maximum market penetration and follow-up. Education: Bachelor's degree business administration, sales, or similar relevant field. filtration, chemicals, drilling / mudding, engineering or technical experience is a plus. Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years of Account Management / Sales experience in the chemical industry. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Aptitude in networking and building relationships. Excellent time and project management skills. Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines. Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude. Travel: Ability to travel to and from customers based in Texas. Travel will be between Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston TX.
