This is an administrative, office-based role at summer camp. It is not a general camp counselor role working directly with kids. Spend your summer supporting Tumbleweed's mission of building happier people by teaching critical life skills. If you're passionate about the summer camp experience and communicating collaboratively with our staff and camp parents, Tumbleweed has a job for you! What You'll Do Every Day at Camp Oversee a collaborative, happy office environment that supports our camp mission. Extend our welcoming, safe camp community to the parents of our campers through exceptional communication. Support efficient administrative and communication processes to enable everyone to do their best work. Proactively problem-solve with camp parents and our staff. Learn, grow and play. What We Do at Tumbleweed Grow together! Working at camp is hard, and no one can do it alone. Play! Working at camp will be the most fun you've ever had in a summer. Create and strengthen life-long relationships. Be our true selves. Our camp staff are heroes, discovering new superpowers in themselves each day. Build happiness in our campers and ourselves, making the world a better place. What You Need to Know (check out the Job Description for more) All positions are temporary, seasonal, full time during the camp season. Expect to work from approximately 8 am through 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Strong experience communicating with parents/families in a summer camp or educational setting is required. As a day camp, we do not provide housing, meals or transportation.
