We got Meko when he was about 2 months old and he is now 1.5 years old (10/10/2021). We were making our way to visit family out of state, when we ran into the owner of Meko (and his parents and siblings). Despite the owner not wanting to give Meko away, they later contacted us and allowed us to rehome Meko due to difficulties his initial owner was having. Since then, Meko has been a family favorite…especially when it comes to our 5 year old son. When they are together they both believe they are humans (or dogs in the matter ☺️). They have been inseparable since, but our children understand that they have busy schedules that don’t always permit to give Meko the love and attention we always would love to give. I would describe Meko as extremely playful, lovable, smart, energetic, and overall quite a character. Sometimes he makes faces intentionally to guilt you into spoiling him. But who doesn’t love to spoil their pets?
