Position Description: As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include: Observing, assessing, and diagnosing patients' conditions Developing and implementing nursing care plans Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Providing health education and counseling to patients Proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation and Hemodynamics monitoring Competency in ventilator management and IABP Responsibilities: 1-3 years of previous RN critical care experience (CCRN and recent CVICU experience preferred) NIHSS stroke certification required Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred Current Florida State Registered Nurse license or active FL RN license within 90 days of hire (if compact license held) Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS/ACLS certification) Current PALS certification required Ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Strong critical thinking skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions Proficiency in PC skills Salary: Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $28.75 (2 years of experience) to $41.32 (17 years of experience).
